Recession me hole!
Pah, you feeling poor today? I pity you. Not everyone has the notes to drop €15 on 4 rechargeable AAA batteries, but I do. You see I bought a (reassuringly expensive) skype phone the other day which uses 2 of these little bastards, but they appear to have died, in a celtic tiger type way, but with less roaring, and celticity! No worries, I just displayed my buying power in my nearest Dunnes Stores by buying more batteries. Take that, I said to the man, I think his name was John. I’ve done my research, and you can’t get negative equity with batteries, so what better way to increase my prolific portfolio, which now consists of:
- 3-bed duplex (negative equity)
- 1 skype phone (possible negative equity, if indeed bollixed)
- 1 set of 4 rechargeable batteries (sound investment)
Now to really make good on my investment, I need to buy a 2nd device which takes exactly 2 AAA rechageable batteries. All entries on a postcard please, and the ruder the better. Ooh pardon!
